We use one of these at work, and it is the best thing to use to cut bagels safely. When I saw this online at such a great price, I had to have one myself. I don't know how many times I've cut my fingers using regular knives to cut bagels! This holds the bagel for you, and all you do is push the blade through the bagel. The blade is sharp enough to easily glide through with one push. It is great! If you've gotta have a bagel, make sure you've got the bagel biter!Customer Review: Larien Bagel Biter

Only used it once so far but it worked great.Hopefully the blade will stay sharp a long time! For some reason I keep picking it up by the handle to move it and then the base just keeps falling on the floor.At least it's not the part with the blade,right? You hafta pick up from the very bottom base.Just something I hafta get used to I guess.If you like/eat Bagels this is a must! I bought the Bagel Biter for my company. Management buys donuts, muffins and bagels every Friday. We slice about 4 dozen bagels every week and so far the Bagel Biter is holding up well.
We had purchased bagel cutters of different designs and they all failed within a couple of months.
I would recommend the Larien Bagel Biter to anyone who is looking for a good solid product of exceptional value.

This product is amazing! We use it all the time at work for our breakfasts and love the ease with which this cuts. You need to be careful when cleaning it because that blade is extremely sharp and can cut with just a touch! This is a must have if you eat even a couple of bagels in your home or office. My students run a "bagel bar" at school each week & I didn't want to have to worry about them slicing their hands. This worked great! We've been using it for a few years now & I love it!!! Works very well, some bagels you have to flatten a little to get them in there, but thats only if its a really big bagel. If you slice bagels a lot, you need this!!!
