I have at least a dozen TotLoks installed in cabinets and drawers throughout my home. I'm the lady of the house and I installed them myself. I thought the adhesive mount sounded good because hey, no drilling! Ha. A complete waste of my time and money. The instructions failed to mention that the lock has to be installed in an upright position or it doesn't work. So when I tried to put these on my upper cabinets, I got them all installed and they wouldn't work. If I wanted them to work I would have to put them on the very top of the cabinet door and that is way to high for me to reach. I also tried installing these in a drawer, but the instructions don't mention that you need to place the catch a bit back from from the edge of the cabinet face. Otherwise your drawer won't shut all the way. My cabinet face is only 1" deep so I couldn't get the catch far enough back so that I could screw it on (adhesive ruined by this time) since it is so large. Complete frustration at this point. I ripped all the locks off, got out my drill and installed TotLoks instead. Good idea if it had worked, but won't work on all cabinets and on all drawers.
