Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of iTouchless Bag Re-Sealer (2-Packs)Customer Review: for camping and quick seals Summary: 4 Stars
it does the job of resealing, it is good for camping, but not for long storage items.
the bag thickness and material makes a difference of how it seals.
like the package says, do not touch the heating pad.
neat little device. I have one at work and one at home. If I went camping I would use it to seal up the chips and such not.
Customer Review: Good Product Summary: 4 Stars
I went into this product with a slight judgement. I read that many of the consumers didn't really care for it and it didn't work. But i thought that for the price i would try it. I've come to love it. It works well for me on many different types of plastic. All you have to do is READ THE DIRECTIONS on how to use it.
Customer Review: Works Decent Summary: 4 Stars
Get a lot of conversation talk about this and how the bags are sealed. It seals pretty well, I just have to make sure it's completely sealed. Sometimes its hard to get the edges sealed right so no air leaks out, but I do recommend this. :)
Customer Review: iTouchless Bag Re-Sealer Summary: 4 Stars
It took a few tries to get the hang of it, but it works well for packaging items in plastic bags. I wouldn't want to use it for liquids, however.
Customer Review: Ok, but not for thicker foil lined bags, like coffee bags. Summary: 3 Stars
Just got this in, works with two AA batteries, has a switch guard so it won't normally get turned on and burned out when it's in the "everything drawer.
Pros:
Works with chip bags, has a switch guard, small convenient.
Cons:
Won't work with thicker foil lined bags like coffee bags, or for sealing together "pouch" type bags for crafting (capri-sun, etc.). May work with potato chip bags, but we don't usually have them here.
Overall: Great for sealing thinner bags that won't be used for awhile, like chip bags that tend to last us at least four weeks, also for sealing sandwich bags that will be used once or twice that don't have the "zip top" seals (which will save you money if you use bags for lunches for the school kids).
