My husband loves to barbeque so we have been looking for a salt grinder and pepper mill for a long time. The ones we were looking at were slightly bigger than a salt and pepper shaker which did us no good. When I found these on Amazon.com and showed them to my husband he told me to purchase them. my Grandmother first had the product but she got it on QVC for alot more money I, was'nt going to pay that so i looked around and found it on Amazon for alot less! So i bought it for my mother and she loves it i, think that it is cool you just push and bam it comes out. What fun to grind your salt and pepper with the touch of a button. There is even a light below so you can see how much salt or pepper you're getting. How many times have you salted something and unable to see it come out, shake some into your hand to see if it's really working. These are very attractive and make a nice gift. A really nice item. Not big and clunky, but with enough power to get the job done. Grinding size is adjustable. The light shining on where the pepper lands is really nice; lets you see just how much pepper you are putting on your food. Not noisy, either.
