I use these pads in place of the expensive branded wee-wee pads sold specifically for dogs. These pads do the same job for much cheaper, and my dog certainly doesn't care what sort of pad he's peeing on.
The only reason I didn't give these pads 5 stars is because sometimes the plastic can get a little leaky/soggy, whereas the pads intended for dogs have a tougher plastic lining on the bottom. However, this issue is minor, and the cost savings outweigh the occasional inconvenience.

I bought this product not for puppies, but for my guinea pigs. I put them over their "chair" and "bed". The pad area was smaller than the 17x24 because that measurement is for the whole pad including the edges. I should have realized that. I just use 2 instead. The problem I found is that the pad really doesn't absorb all that much. I guess a small puppy might be able to use it more than once. But, my piggies can only get about one use per pad. They are cheap enough though. It makes their cages easier to clean with pads. Shipping is expensive, but that can be expected. I think next time I will buy the next size bigger.Customer Review: False advertising

This product was billed as the same product used by hospitals for incontinent patients. That may be true of the pads that measure 24 by 24, but not these 17 by 24 sized pads. They are too small for my 4 pound Yorkie. Maybe they would fit an incontinent baby. The shipping was outrageous. I spent $26.00 for 600 poor quality pads and $50.00 for shipping. Never again will I buy from this company.
