This is my second generation of buckwheat pillow. I love sleeping on them, but mine was getting old,and I wanted new ones. I had trouble locating them locally, so was pleased to find this vendor. They are great. I like that the cover has a zipper, so that I was able to remove about a cup of buckwheat to make my pillow softer - the way I like it. You can also buy new buckwheat if you need to refill. No neck or back aches since using these pillows. They are smaller than regular pillows, but do the job.Customer Review: BUCKWHEAT BED PILLOW

I agree with the other reviews that this is a very good quality product. But do think carefully about which pillow you order, because this company discourages returns. And they are right: given the weight of the buckwheat, the cost of returning the pillow is such that you might as well keep it. They also discourage returning the pillow on the grounds that it is a personal item, which will no longer be brand new for the next buyer, ignoring the fact that of course you will not be contaminating it with your head when you try it, since you will be using a pillowslip to cover it.
I bought the "regular" size pillow, and didn't notice that this is considerably smaller than the "standard" American pillow--which means that on a double bed, this pillow doesn't fit with the other pillow, and a standard pillowcase doesn't fit it. Had I realized this, I would have ordered the travel size pillow, which is cheaper, would have been fine for my needs, and would have been easier to store when not in use.

This is my second buckwheat pillow. These pillows last for years. I've always had upper back and neck problems. However, buckwheat pillows changed all that. You can mold them so that they also support your neck. Good for back and side sleepers only. Not for stomach sleepers.Customer Review: best pillow of the kind
