Customer Review: The crumbler - useful gadget though

As others have pointed out, this does crush bigger-sized cereal. I haven't tried modifying the wings yet but may look into that. It's made of sturdy-enough looking plastic so I hope it lasts. It's a godsend for those days when you're too tired or in too much of a hurry to cook breakfast for the little ones in time for school. I hated having to roll up and put away my Frosted Flakes back in the pantry to maintain the freshness, and this device helps although it does crush them. We may even buy other colors (we got black to match the kitchen appliances) just for variety.Customer Review: great convenience and look--just be careful

we love this cereal dipenser, with 4 kids in the family it's great to limit the open cereal boxes and keep cereal fresh. I just wish it wish it came assembled--we followed the directions carefully but with one of them the knob got stuck the wrong way in the jar and ended up cracking the jar 1/4 inch. We put crazy glue on the spot and hasn't given us any trouble yet--I just wish it it wasn't so hard to assemble that part--our only complaint. Otherwise it works great and looks cool on our kitchen table--we've gotten lots of compliments--a great conversation piece also!Customer Review: Quality

I love this item, however, for my busy household it was not practical. It kept falling over everytime one of the kids touched it to get cereal. I love the fact that it had an area to catch any cereal that may fall out. The container with the cereal was too heavy for the base. I returned it and purchase the stainless steel which has a heavier base. This seems to work better. It does not have an area to catch any fallen cereal so the cereal is all over the counter. I have used this product only for storage of cereal so I can't say how it works with anything else and generally I'm pleased with the product. The cereal seems to stay relatively fresh, although I usually like to keep the black rubber cap on the bottom opening just in case. My only complaint is because the rubber paddles that push the cereal out are somewhat of a hard rubber it can crush the cereal a little bit creating more crumbs and sometimes be just slightly messy.Customer Review: Great Product!

I love this dispenser. it has cut out about 5 minutes of my prep time in the morning.(and with a two year old, that's like an eternity) the only thing i'm not loving about it are the pieces that hold the containers up. they seem to move more than they should. maybe if they make those two pieces a part of the base, then they would stand straight. oh well, just a thought...
other than that- great product, amazon did a great job with timely delivery!
