I'm glad I decided to buy this. It's really nice and sturdy and it looks great on my counter. It holds obout 46 oz's (2 BAGS) of cereal. That's just a guess but it's very close to that. It can get a little messy, but it's far better then the kids dropping a whole bag or having cereal go stale (and most of us moms/dads know what it's like to have more than 3 bags of cereal open at once.) If this ever breaks, I will buy another one.Customer Review: Kids are finally getting their own breakfast!

We love this item! It has dispensed all kinds of cereals from large honeycomb to the tiny fruity pebbles. Each one has been a great success. I read some reviews that said the unit was unsturdy... NO WAY! As long as you make sure to snap all pieces in securely, this unit stands on its own from completely full to entirely empty. We have used it for well over a year with no problems! They work perfectly. About the cereal crumbling... Its not that bad at all. I put in some captain crunch and it didnt crumble that at all. BTW, the containers each hold one gallon, which is quite a bit. I personally cant see why some folks rated this item so low. It only costs 32 dollars and works just as described. I like this cereal dispenser and my children really love it. I heard them say that it seem as if their at a resturant and is helping themselves to a continential breakfast . I would recommend anybody to get one because it also looks great on top of my kitchen counter top .
