We loved this so much that we wound up buying a second one of these to accomodate 4 different cereals (we have 4 kids). And yes, this doesn't easily facilitate all cereals - but as a mom, you can tell you kids "you can have this, this or this. now what'll it be?" We've worked it out that way. No more Fruit Loops, but now I can buy the Trix stuff that comes in the bags -- which is much cheaper and the kids con't care. And it fits in this handy dispenser. Or the Cocoa Puffs version of the cheap stuff in the bags - again, it fits in the dispenser and my kids don't know the difference between the name brand and the generic brand. My only drawback is that I may be slightly neurotic and every time I take it apart to clean it, I'm afraid I'm going to break it. It is a little flimsy. You're probably better off keeping the same cereal in it for a while before cleaning it rather than putting the stress on the plastic.Customer Review: Resonable Expectations

I've seen a handful of reviews on this product, all of which are giving an innaccurate view of the actual product.
For what it is intended to do, it does... and does well. Portion control, eliminating boxes from cabinets IN EXCHANGE for counter space, and the goshdarned cool factor of this earn it the rating.
"Boo Hooing" beacause something DESIGNED to use counter space, uses counter space is rediculous. I'm giving it five stars. To tell the truth, I would have given four honestly, but c'mon... balancing the plebians is necessary here... so five it gets.
Does what it does, and looks good too!

I bought 2 sets of the dual containers. They are convenient and have replaced an entire cabinet full of cereal boxes with the 4 retro-looking "Good Eats" style dispensers! I have rice in one container, Goldfish in another, and the other 2 hold cereal of varying brands. We just keep adding cereal to the top and the kids don't mind the minor mixing of the cereals in their bowls. It is nice to see the cereal get eaten up. We have no more boxes with small amounts of uneaten cereal all over the place! Highly Recommend if you have the counter space, or the pantry/cabinet space that is tall enough for this dispenser.Customer Review: Handy Dandy dispenser

I love this dispenser. Its very handy and it helps keep boxes out of my pantry. The kids just love this as much as I do. We see these at hotels when they do their complimentary breakfasts and I thought, why can't I do that. Sometimes the cereal gets stuck in the rotating element, but a quick turn the other way and wa la! you have your cereal. Its really easy to clean, quick rinse through the sink and there you go. I recently purchased a dispenser from Zevro with intentions to use it for cereal purchases. I was so tired of stale cereal and crowded cabinets, I figured I had nothing to lose. I purchased the double model and realized very quickly how great it is! I put frosted flakes in one side, and trail mix in the other (when the m&ms are all eaten of course). It looks trendy on my countertop, and it really does dispense the "perfect" amount!
