Even with a whole house filter, our water poor to drink. I used to buy bottled water. With Zero Water, I can now drink our tap water and save money (but not much) over bottled. When you add the cost and hastle of moving bottled water and then the empties to the recycling center, Zero water is a winner.
Pre filter the meter usually reads 216 or more. Post filter it is 0. They last for between 33 and 45 days for our small family.

One of the tops on one of the filter canisters failed and spilled the insides everywhere, but that could have been damage done in transit and otherwise this review would be five stars. Besides, I returned the canisters for a full refund with no problems whatsoever and plan on reordering today. I love the water that these filters produce. This filteration system works great. However, the public water system in my area, San Diego, has ppm (460) approaching the EPA limit (500), hence, the filters don't last as long as they would in a less polluted area. I find no faults with this system other than the cost of the filters, which are somewhat expensive. But given the amount of pollutants in our water, they are worth it.Customer Review: So far so good

I am in innesota and this works great for our office. We need to expand but until we do space is at a premium and the filters sure do save space. They work well too. We replace ours about every 3 to 4 months.
However I have never ordered the replacement filters from Amazon. I am hopeful that I won't get some kind of rejects.

I think this product has been good for my husband and myself. We had been a customer of another water system in which it was getting expensive per year to keep. We took the chance to purchase the unit and we like the taste of the water. We plan to recycle filters, we like this for "going green" it is the right thing to do.
