This little peeler really works, does not take up much space, is easy to clean, and didn't cost a lot. I'v owned this for over a year and it is the best thing I have used to peel garlic. You can do 2 or 3 cloves at a time. Afer you roll the garlic the peels stick to the inside of the tube while the cloves fall out. Most of the time, if you are not too exuburant, the cloves will stay whole. whatever thats good for. My only minor dislike I have for it is after you've peeled several cloves, the garlic juices tend to make the inside a little slippery so it doesn't do as an expediant job at peeling. but a quick rinse usually solves that peeve of mine. I highly recommend this piece of kitchen gadgetry.Customer Review: This ones amazing people!

This gadget is a must for fresh garlic users. It works so well and is able to be cleaned by throwing it into the dishwasher. We love that! Also, you will be amazed at how much time you will save peeling fresh garlic with this. Don't push too hard when you roll it or you will crush the garlic. Just slight pressure will do the trick. One other tip: If you do use fresh garlic, you can get the smell off of your hands by rinsing them under cold water while rubbing a stainless steal utensil- like a spoon. Amazingly, this takes away the garlic smell. Try it.Customer Review: Works well, Gift recipients loved it!

I gave this as a gift to a couple who enjoy cooking together and both love lots of garlic! They have raved about it and both use it with equal ease. I asked if they have any problem using it when needing lots of garlic and they said that the time it takes to clean it out after peeling a few cloves is minimal compared to the time it saves overall. Not as messy to clean up as some suggest. And it isn't one of those gadgets that gets tossed to the back of a drawer and forgotten. Reading the other reviews of this product, I had to share my own experience. The difference in experience seems to be in the garlic itself. For store-bought garlic, using the flat side of a knife to whack the cloves has worked nearly effortlessly. But with the very fresh, incredibly hard garlic from my garden, this method has not worked, and I have been reduced to peeling the cloves with a paring knife, which seems to take forever. Surprisingly, this little garlic peeler loosens the covering in just a few seconds. I love it.
