We are renting a home in Germany and since we're only here for a few years, we don't have the option of finding everything we want. So, we ended up with a fairly small galley kitchen. I've been frustrated by lack of good storage, especially for spices. My Spice Stack now sits on a narrow and otherwise wasted counter space next to the stove. It's handy, keeps the spices out of bright light and is well organized. There was no breakage during shipping and it appears to be pretty sturdy. I've used each of the 27 "round" spice slots. A few oddly shaped spice containers won't fit, but I already knew that. This fits the majority of store bought spice containers. I have purchased or examined many styles of spice racks over the years, but this one fits the particular cupboard and holds all the spices that I purchase in normal sizes. It is easy to organize the spices in the three levels, and they are at a good eye-level for a short to tall person. (I am 5'1". My husband is 6'4".
The only thing you need to check carefully is to see if the cabinet is wide enough for the doors to open. Some cabinets have wide boards in the middle that prevents opening the drawers.
A good investment. I am thinking of purchasing some for Christmas gifts.

I have had one of these for at least 5 years. I am buying another one because of still having too many spices and it is still too full in my cupboards. If you realize that it is plastic, you have to understand limitations. Which obviously means no pulling out more than 1 drawer at a time, because the weight is too great for the thing. I think that most people disliked it because they weren't happy with the idea that it was plastic. If they had a wood version I would definitely replace my plastic ones with such. However, I haven't found something like the such with such a good price attached.Customer Review: Better suited for counter top

I just purchased a second one of these. Great idea. Best thing around for spices in a small area...
BUT....There is no way the plastic tabs at the end of the drawer will support the weight of a full drawer.
The drawer when fully extended will have to rest on something solid to take the stress off of the plastic tabs.
I would like to have placed this item in the cupboard but have decided to place both of these on the counter top. I then placed on top of the spice cabinets, other items like pepper mill, salt and pepper shakers, egg timer, thermometers, etc.

We considered a lot of spice rack options, chose this one, and are really happy.
This is a very sturdy system. The plastic is hard and strong. Yet it is very compact - there is very little wasted space. The size is such that it fit nicely on a shelf in our cupboards. If you wanted, you can stack them with the feet of one fitting into dimples on the one below. We have the usual collection of different size spice bottles. This system accommodates them all.
Whoever designed this put a lot of thought into it and it shows.
