I can't specifically rate this item as it was a gift for my daughter who lives in an apartment & often runs out of "quarters" for the dryer! I CAN say she's delighted to have it! These foldable drying racks have been around a long time (so have I!)but I suspect the coated metal would be much superior to aluminum (with a tendency to rust)as well as wooden ones that can produce "slivers" tearing a garment.

This drying rack from Whitney Design is an all metal tube rack that has a antique bronze finish. The rack provides up to 23-3/4 feet of drying space on 9 separate rods. The rack has telescoping rods that can go from 20-inch in width to 34-1/2-inch in width. When not in use, the rack folds for easy storage. No tools are required for assembly.
