I bought this cord minder at another site because it didn't have the manufacturer in the description. I would have never purchased it had I known it was the Whitney brand. I didn't mind the fact that it bent over immediately when I put on the cord, I thought I could get past that problem. But, then the small metal strap that keeps the pole erect bent just like a piece of aluminum foil. I promise you that this piece of garbage will not work for anyone. The person giving it a 5 rating must be from the maker "Whitney," because it is flimsy garbage!!!

The all chrome cordminder is like a spring whip and you simply clamp into on to your ironing board.
