Who would have thought that a simple little gadget like this one could enhance the taste of wine? Well, it does. We have had numerous guests make the taste test. A sip of wine before aerating and another sip afterwards. Unanimously, the wine tasted better. Somme comments: lighter, softer, less acidity, smoother.
I had originally purchased an aerator at a vineyard boutique in the Napa Valley. I liked it so much I went on the internet to purchase another one. After comparing prices, Amazon had the best offer.
Try it youself. You won't be disappointed.

I origionally found this item at a winery in Napa, and swooped one up as a gift for my boyfriend. We use it all the time, be it for just a glass or two or to decant and entire bottle for company. It's very easy to use, and it works wonders. So nice to not have to plan ahead an hour or two just to decant a bottle of wine! It really does open up the flavor and body of wines, I think more so for reds. Plus, it's entertaining! I've purchased them as house-warming gifts for friends and family, birthdays, X-mas, father's day, you name it. Product works fine. Only issue is there are what looks like cracks on the item. They are lines that extend from the aerator holes. We called amazon, they sent us a replacement very quickly (great customer service) and the second item had the same lines. The next week we found out from someone at a Napa Valley vineyard that these lines are common and are part of the mold. The manufacturer even started putting notes in some of the products stating this is normal according to the person from the vineyard. So the product works great and Amazon was at least $10 less than any other place I have seen.Customer Review: Right mix of gimicky and alcohol

I bought this for my brother in law for Christmas. He is big into wine and is also a techy type. In the 10 years that we have known him, this is the only thing that he has asked for, so of course we got it for him. For about $30, it was awesome! It is very stylish looking and is useful. The noise that it makes is pretty hilarious! Everyone wanted to have another glass just to hear it. The base acts as a holder, and makes a convenient place for all of the drips that come out the wine. Everyone forgot to try a before and after sip, but it seemed like it did the job it was supposed to do.Customer Review: WHOA! A Product that Works as Advertised!

The Vinturi is amazing! I didn't believe the marketing and all the gushing reviews. So I figured for $31 what the heck and I gave it a try. WHOA! The Vinturi is like a microwave or cellphone -- how did we live without it?! I've performed blind tastings with friends several times, and almost every time, they rate the Vinturi'd wine the best. Oh sure, you can be a traditionalist and wait for wine to decant, but hey, drinking decanted wine straight from the bottle is amazing and the way to go! Even the tiny strainer works great on older wines! If you don't have a Vinturi, get it.
