I LOVE this little gadget. True, you have to be careful not to put too huge a piece in or it won't work as well. However, overall it is really strong. I like to cut up big pieces of onion and potato into quarters and then chop them up. Unlike another chopper I had previously this device has two grids--one with smaller and one with larger holes. It is GREAT for when a recipe calls for cubed vegetables or fruits. The best thing about it is that when I have to chop up onions I don't have to stop and dry my tears before I continue! It is one of my most frequently used kitchen devices. I really recommend it to all of you out there who love to cook!Customer Review: Love it!

I LOVE this thing!! As someone who is extremely affected by onion fumes, this is a wonderful addition to my kitchen! No more having to wait for my husband to chop onions. When I've done them myself, I was actively bawling and unable to even see while I was slicing, no matter what "trick" I tried while slicing! But this? Love it. I also use this to dice potatoes for hash browns or fried. And cubing veggies for stews? A dream. The little fingerboard for cleaning is wonderful for getting in between the lid grating and cleaning peels and gunk out. This was totally worth the money I spent, as it is in constant use in my kitchen.Customer Review: Best thing ever!

I just love this chopper! I am really into making salsa from my garden and this handy chopper is great! Last year I used a food processor and it took forever. Now with the Vidalia Chop Wizard I can make up the salsa in half the time. It goes thru onions, roma tomatoes, green peppers I even use it when I make pasta salad and it works great with black olives. Clean up is so easy, it's very sturdy and chops everything very nicely. My son is going to culinary school and he was impressed with this as well. After chopping more fingers than vegtables the past few years, I gave the Vidalia Chop Wizard a try. The day it arrived I put it to the test chopping onions, bell peppers, garlic and tomatoes. I came out of the entire process bandage free, with vegtables chopped to perfection and a great deal of satisfaction. The Wizard is easy to use and clean. It not only saves me from slicing up my fingers, but slices off valuable time doing what used to be a boring chore. I plan on buying some for Christmas gifts this year. Once I figured out how to cut the onions and how much to put in the tray I must tell you I was amazed. It cut each onion perfectly and didn't turn it to mush as I thought it would. I now use it not only for the onions but for the celery, bell pepper, green onions, and pickles I have reduced my time preparing the chicken salad by 30 minutes. I just love it and I have told everyone I know about it. One thing is you have to figure out which blade is best for each veggie once you do it is the greatest little gadget. I am now buying one for my home and for a few of my friends
