Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Victorio VKP1013 Round Three-Tray Kitchen Seed SprouterCustomer Review: great gift for kids Summary: 5 Stars
I gave one to some kids I spend a lot of time with. I also gave them some sprouting seeds to go with it. They LOVE it. It's so easy to use. And it teaches kids how to take care of something because they have to run water through it twice a day. And I had one about ten or twelve years ago, I loved being able to grow my own sprouts. For a good children's gift I would suggest giving three kinds of sprouting seeds, one for each level.
Customer Review: Quick and Easy Summary: 5 Stars
I can't believe how easy this is. Add seeds. Add water. Pour out water that has reached the bottom level. Repeat this simple chore 2 or 3 times per day, and enjoy fresh sprouts in 2 to 3 days.
I love them raw, but my favorite is throwing them on a hot iron skillet with a bit of soy sauce, flipping it once and eating. Delicious.
Customer Review: Happy Sprouter Summary: 5 Stars
I have used this sprouter for years without any problems. Handwash only. Place on a level surface. Twice daily, pour enough water into the top to cover the little plug. Unique design gently moves water from tier to tier. Water collected in the base is great to use on houseplants. In winter, I place the sprouter on top of the fridge for warmth.
Customer Review: Great product Summary: 5 Stars
As a newbie sprouter, this product really did the trick for me. I've sprouted alfalfa, mung and wheat with great success so far. I water once in the morning and once in the evening. The product works perfectly as described by the manufacturer. I love having a steady supply of fresh sprouts for salads and smoothies.
Customer Review: As simple as possible Summary: 5 Stars
Okay, there's not supposed to be anything complex about sprouting seeds/beans. What makes this particular sprouter better in my opinion is that the spacing (through which the water drains) seems just about perfect. Fine seed like alfalfa does not wash through the way some of my other sprouting containers have.
