This is my favorite knife. I use it for most of my everyday kitchen tasks, from slicing onions to trimming fat off of a brisket. It has proved to be very versatile and is always the first knife I reach for. I'd been looking for a good bread knife that didn't requiring serious sawing and didn't cost me a $100. I read some reviews and decided on this one. Forschner knives are SO good for the money, and this one is my favorite. If you ever slice French bread, artisan bread, anything that needs a sharp serrated blade with the ability to make perfect slices, this is it. You will never squash a loaf of bread again.Customer Review: Mets Expectations

Does what it's supposed to do, cuts bread. Not everything for sale actually does what it's supposed to, so that is worth saying. It's up to Victorinox standards and the price is reasonable. Enough said.
