When replacing our former steak knives, I went with one of these sets and also another set that had high ratings. I need 12, but wanted to be sure to get the set I liked the most. When I started using both sets, I initially liked the look and feel of the other set (they looked classy), but it quickly became clear that these knives are by far the sharper knives. I use them for everything; they're fantastic. I haven't put them through the dishwasher (don't want my kids getting cut when they empty it), but they're easy to clean, so it doesn't bother me. I'm very impressed, and will purchase another set of these.Customer Review: So impressed, I ordered more...

I purchased a "six-pack" of these knives about 6 months ago. I was so impressed, I just ordered another pack of 6. They are very sharp and are great for everyday cutting tasks around the kitchen. The reason I ordered more was that I got spoiled. Anytime I would go to the drawer to grab a sharp knife I would look for these new ones vs. our old ones. I found that these new knives were always in the dishwasher because everyone would use them up first and leave the old cheapo's in the drawer. We use them for everything....a great paring knife and anything else for which you need a knife this size.Customer Review: Nice and well worth the money.

I purchased this set of steak knives because a set that I had gotten as a gift from someone many years ago had reached their end. I never really gave it any thought, a steak knife is a steak knife right? Boy was I wrong. These knives cut SMOOTHLY not matter if you cut against the grain. Yes they are serrated and you might think they would just tear through the meat and make a mess of your steak, but they dont. They are so sharp you'd think you were slicing thru butter. I will admit they may LOOK a little cheap with the plastic handles but they are all business. Well worth the price.Customer Review: As good as reviews said they were

Just love when an item that we need has reviews to guide us in making a decision. Love it even more when the reviews were dead on perfect. We have used these knives, being very careful, and find them to be very sharp as advertised. They have also done well in the dishwasher. Would order them again in a heartbeat, great product, helps get things done in the kitchen with very little effort. Slices, dices, whatever is needed, with its excellent design and sharp blades. I love the set of Victorinox kitchen knives that I bought last year so choosing the brand of my new steak knives was easy. These are just as great as I expected; very sturdy, sharp and affordable. I decided on this particular set because of the shape of the handle. It is chunky--easy to grip--giving me complete control for effortless cutting. (Another model, with the rounded blade tip, has a slimmer handle similar to the paring knife which I do not find as comfortable.) I do have to say that they're not very attractive, but I didn't buy them for their looks!
