I just love this set. Probably the 4 inch pairing knife is mostly used in my kitchen. It almost serves every needs, and occasionally we had to use the other two knives. Pairing one has lost some of its edges, but the other two are still as sharp as new. I am very happy with the set, and I might try some other knives from Victorinex.Customer Review: great knives

after we bought a set of 6 steak knives, we liked them so much we bought another set of steak knives, as well as a set of 3 chef's knives. they are very sharp, and a great value for the price compared to other knives. be careful until you get used to knives this sharp - we have already cut ourselves a few times!Customer Review: Great knives

This is a well-balanced set of knives and a good value for the money. They are rather sharp and hold their edge very well. I have not had the opportunity to sharpen them yet to see how difficult that process is. I purchased these knives for my daughter. I have Cutco and tried going to e-bay to purchase at a reasonable price. They were still over my budget. I got these as a gift from my wish list. I chose them based on price and reviews I found here and elsewhere on the net. I've used them just about every day for a few months and I don't know how I lived without them! They slice through everything easily. Definitely worth it.
