Apparently all my knives are old and so dull b/c when I used this one for the first time I said Wow! It's very sharp and so comfortable in my small hand. I am into juicing, so I use this knife all day long to cut up fruits and veggies. Works perfect! Love this knife and would highly recommend it! My favorite knife for the last 20-30 years broke recently and after trying different unsatisfactory knives I went to my best friend for advice. She is a chef and so is her husband. She immediately said buy a Victorinox. I bought the special of three of their knives, the 6" and 8"Chef's knives, and the paring knife. I LOVE THEM!!!!Customer Review: Best knife ever !!

We've used the 6" Victorinox knives for at least 10 years. They can be sharpened regularly, and always are the perfect size for dicing veggies. I really wouldn't be without them in my kitchen (or our kids kitchens ---we always take them when we visit).
They're certainley affordable, and can be replaced as needed.

I recently purchased this knife as well as the 8" Chef and 3" Paring. I was skeptical after first trying the paring knife - nothing special there. BUT...this knife was wonderful!!! I never thought I would enjoy quartering potatoes but I was actually disappointed when they were gone. The job was easy with this knife!Customer Review: Better than expected

I purchased this knife and an 8-inch chef's knife (Forschner) at the same time, thinking that the 8-incher would be my primary knife. Everyone in the family uses this 6" knife all the time. It fits the hand so well and chops veggies superbly. A great bargain too.
