Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Victorinox 40521 10-Inch Chef's Knife, Black Fibrox HandleCustomer Review: Fine tool, Economically priced Summary: 5 Stars
Amateur Chef, prepares most meals from scratch I recently decided to acquire a professional quality Chef's knife. The price, $22 delivered, the quality and size, 10" R.H. Forschner, attracted me to this item. I couldn't be happier and boy, it is sharp. With the Victorinox BladeSafe sheath, ordered separately, there are no worry's of mishandling or storing the knife.
Customer Review: Good basic knife Summary: 5 Stars
Garden-variety bachelor here. I've have this knife for almost two years, and it's served me well. Large enough to cut well, easy to grip, easy to clean, inexpensive. I have not ever sharpened it and it still cuts nicely; although not as well as when I first got it. I'd recommend this anyone who just needs a knife for basic cooking.
Customer Review: My go to knife Summary: 5 Stars
I use this knife professionally every day and am impressed. I'ts a lighter weight knife (which I prefer), but is obviously sturdy and solid. Great balance and a great edge that has been holding up to 12 hour days no problem. I plan on buying more victorinox knives, finally found a knife that works really well for me.
Customer Review: best of the best Summary: 5 Stars
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST KNIFES THAT THE SHARPNESS OF THE KNIFE WILL LAST FOR A MONTH! I USED THESE KNIFES WHEN I WAS BUTCHER FOR A LOCAL HEB STORE. IN MY OPINION AND FOR PEOPLE THAT KNOWS ABOUT KNIFES THESE ARE ONE OF THE BEST OF THE BEST... GLOBAL IS JUST THE BRAND YOU ARE BUYING THEY ARE THE SAME AS FAR AS QUALITY.
Customer Review: Awesome knives Summary: 5 Stars
We had a whole set of these knives at home already. I bought 2 more for some cooking workshops that I host (after totally wasting my money on cheaper ones that wouldn't cut worth a darn). The knives work fabulously, especially for being relatively inexpensive.
