I have, well, too many cats I guess, 7 at present. Feliway will not control every bit of aggression, but it does help a lot. I agree with another reviewer who said he used one per room. One per floor will not cut it with a serious problem. I took in an older, unneutered male(yes, he's neutered now) who desperately wanted a home. He is aggressive towards my one other male. However, with Feliway, the problems are much less. I can tell when a container is empty, because he will become more irritable. Oh I also have 2 females who get into tiffs. This helps them also and is why I originally started using it. I am thinking of buying stock in the company.
Anyway, the point is, you may have to use more and wait a bit....but don't forget the spray, which is also helpful. Also, for spraying or urination, use one of the specially formulated cleaners...only. Don't use other cleaners. The Feliway will not stop cats from smelling and then thinking that they need to reinforce the message. Fortunately, with lots of litter boxes and daily cleaning, this has not been a problem for me.
