I purchased this item because I had hoped it would live up to the title "universal." While technically it does, chopping anything which contains the slightest amount of juice will have the equivalent result of pouring a glass of liquid upon the entire surface surrounding the grinder. It was also missing a piece which was promptly sent by the manufacture upon notice. Other than that, it seems to perform adequately enough.
