I was reluctant to purchase this item based on the first and only review. I just received mine in the mail, inspected it, put it together in a matter of seconds(there are no instructions) and tried it out. I was VERY HAPPY to the point of being overjoyed. The item PICTURED is the EXACT item I received (not sure what happened to the last person's order). The disk with the four holes is the base the basket sits on while it spins (there is a slight cone shaped lift in the center). The lid is AWESOME too. It has two locking latches so there is no worry about keeping the lid on while spinning. The crank moved smoothly and the small opening on the lid that you can be assured it is spinning or add stuff while into it. At less than $17 this is an AWESOME DEAL, snatch one up at this price while you can. I am going to buy another one for my mom right now too.
