We just received this pump and tested it and it works great! We put it atop a Culligan jug and seal is good. Will post again later for review on durability.
We've pumped two 5 gallon jugs now and it's still working just as it was when we got it. You do need some muscle to pump it. If you have a shoulder injury or weak arms - keep it on the floor and use your weight or get the battery version that is available.
12-2010 We've used this for water for six months straight - no problems. Works and seals just as it did the day we purchased it.

I've had this pump for over a month now and I use it daily. It has served me well. The first thing my husband said when he saw it was "it looks cheap". Because of this we had very low expectations but we were pleasantly surprised! It was easy to assemble and it works great! It does look cheap and rather flimsy but it still gets the job done. This is exactly what I've been looking for. For the last year I've just been tilting a 5 gallon jug into glasses or liter containers...what a pain. A friend in Mexico had one of these which I promptly bought on returning home. I've had it for a little over a month and love it. Not the best quality, but for $10ish it is so worth it, and better than getting a crock.Customer Review: Fantastic product!

I love this product. I was looking for an alternative to lifting a 5 gallon bottle of water on top of a water cooler. I wanted spring water, but I am as old as dirt and can't lift the bottles. We purchased two of these for our summer home. We have a water service at our year round home, but needed something for our camp. This pump works fantastic! Our water service wanted to charge us almost $27 for just ONE! We purchased two for less than half of that. We love it and I'm so glad we found such a great deal.
