I wanted cute silverware for my daughter ... not something I could pick up at WalMart. This silverware is absolutely adorable. It is very sturdy and the perfect size for her to feed herself. She loves it. We received a set for Christmas when my daughter was 16 months old, and she began using it immediately. I loved it so much that I purchased a second set, and I am planning to purchase a third so that we have plenty for our other daughter to use when she gets old enough (I've been known to forget pieces at restaurants ... I carry 2 sets in my diaper bag at all times so I know my daughter can feed herself). I love these and would definitely recommend them to anyone. I run them through the dishwasher in the regular silverware cubby and haven't had a problem. Ours have been dropped a lot already and have no scratches or anything. I definitely recommend these!
