This could be the perfect wineglass holder.
The stake unscrews from the bottom of the table and both fit flat into the drawstring clear PVC bag that comes with it. The table can then be stashed compactly and safely in most totes, or bungeed to the top of most coolers.
The stake itself is about a foot long and holds the table securely on the lawn and in the sand (well, maybe except for exceptionally shifty sand). The table top can also be used as a small cutting board, communal plate/serving surface. The cutouts fit most wine glasses except for very large round bowls and artistically-tapered stems. Don't overfill the glass (making it top heavy) and there shouldn't be any problem keeping the glasses secure.
I've used this on beaches, at winery picnics, music festivals and in our own yard and it has been invaluable. I have been approached by several people at these events asking where to buy one too.
