Customer Review: True Workhorse and Lasting Quality

This kettle just keeps going and going and going and going. It's plastic, so when people say cheap, well, it's a plastic kettle, it's not stainless steel or aluminum like one you'd place on a stovetop.
I personally have had two of these, the original stayed in the house I moved out of and I know for a fact it's still working after about 4 years of several times daily use. I bought another one for my new house, and after two years, it still works just as well as the day I bought it. I also use it at least two to three times a day. It always shuts right off when the cycle is complete and I've never ever had a problem or thought I should worry about it at all. It is very easy to clean and maintain. Just boil a little vinegar in the water to get rid of any deposits that may build up inside.
The water heats VERY quickly also. Faster than I can boil it on the stove. I use this every morning for my french press coffee and I also use it for soup water, pasta water, etc. It heats my water for pasta faster than my stovetop!
It's very easy to wrap the cord under the base so you don't have to have a messy long cord dangling about on the counter. And it really is cordless and slips effortlessly on and off the base. Never a problem. The view panel is easy to see through so you always know how much water is in it.
Honestly, I've had three or four different types of electric kettles and this one, for less the 25.00 bucks is just such a solid workhorse that you'll never need another. I mean, 6 years of combined use between two of them and it shows no sign of letting up. Best investment!
