Based on the price, the quality of the desk is what you would expect. The desk is small, just the right size for my 8-year-old. I do not expect the desk to last for a long time, however, it is a good interim piece. The drawer bottoms, as well as the back panel are all cardboard. You will not be able to put anything heavy in the drawers.
It comes completely unassembled. The directions were easy to follow, however, it took about 4 hours to put it together.
