OK I know most people don't want anyone to know when they get bedbugs. It is a emotional experience. I had to tell my whole family to stay away. We got these demon bugs after we stayed in a hotel in a high class place after our house caught fire. We thought we had fleas because the fleas were so bad this summer. To our surprise it was bedbugs. We thought it was just a saying. YA RIGHT. There real and anyone can get them. I lost friends because of it. No one wanted to come over. And I spent 100's of dollars trying my hardest to get rid of these things. We even moved and left everything. I went from a size 14 to a 3 from all the stress. But I finally found something that dries them out and kills them. It's Diatomaceous earth. I told my husband why not it's 15 dollars. It's better then the hundreds we have been spending. I have a Blue Razor's Edge pit bull and these things were eating the dog up. But I put this stuff down and I put it everywhere because bed bugs are not just in beds. There babies like to fall from the ceiling like lent and they always seem to know were you are in your house if there hungry. I watched with my own eyes as a bedbug crawled through this stuff and it stopped dead in it's track. I sat like a dummy for 30 mins just watching to see if it moved again. It was dead. This is the first night I have not thought I was going to go crazy. We might even get to have the family over finally for christmas dinner. Thank God. It is really like powder,you have to let it settle because it will chock you up when you sprinkle it. But it work's. Sorry this is so long I'm just so glad I finally found something that worked. My son's school is using it now too. I really hope people read this and they can finally know there's alot of people out there with the same problem. But there are stuff that really works. And most people think a bedbug bite looks like a flea bite and they don't all the time. I used to just get red blotches. I hope you guys read this and find comfort in something that finally will help all of us that doesn't have 1000's to get rid of these demon bugs. Thank you again to who ever makes this stuff... God bless you...... update Feb 2011. I have not been bit or seen a bedbug at all. My pets look so much better. I was really mad at first because it took about a month before I didn't see them anymore. But I have not seen not one. Last time I did was in December. So it takes a min but it does kill them....
