Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Diatomaceous Earth 12oz Shaker

Customer Review: Great and it works!
Summary: 5 Stars

This stuff works very well, both on the dogs and outside. Non-toxic, it scratches the outer shell of insects and they dry out. Much less damaging to the environment and only kills the bugs that are bugging you!

Customer Review: Good Stuff
Summary: 5 Stars

Used this to help get rid of bedbugs and other pests. It has definitely reduced the number of bus I've seen and was easy to use.

Customer Review: Great stuff
Summary: 5 Stars

This stuff is great, it's safe and effective. This is all that I will use to control fleas and bugs that annoy us and our cats.

Customer Review: Used for Cockroaches
Summary: 4 Stars

RAID has nothing on this stuff. NOTHING. If applied thoroughly to a roach-infested piece of furniture, they will be gone in a matter of days, and not ever come back. I've tried everything under the sun, and this is the best thing I've ever come across. Buy it. The only disadvantage is that it does leave a white powdery residue, obviously. It's hard to brush or sweep off of things because it's so extremely fine. However, if your place is full of cockroaches, you've got nothing to lose. A thin veneer of powder is cleaner than a stinking nest of nasties.

As for fleas, I gave some to my mom in law and... sorry, it just doesn't work well. You'd need to keep the cats/ dogs dusted every day or two, and they will keep licking it off of themselves. I don't imagine that it's great for their stomach, even if it is nontoxic. It does help the bedding and carpets, but not the animals themselves. Suck it up, go to the vet, and get some Advantage or Frontline. Don't make your pets suffer because you're super hung up on being ecologically friendly.
