We use a large coffee press in the morning, which provides four cups of coffee. We share the first two and the rest goes into this Thermos.
At lunchtime, I have hot coffee. Not cold, not warm, not tepid. HOT coffee! I used to buy my afternoon coffee but no more.
The Nissan thermos is compact and light enough I can take it to work whether I'm driving or riding my bike.
We were so pleased with this thermos we bought a second one a month later so that we can carry soup or another beverage on weekend trips.
We paid $23 for the first thermos and received the second one 'free' as part of Amazon's 4-for-3 promotion.

I think I am addicted to this thermos. I have used it every single day since I got it 10 days ago. I make hot tea every morning and put it in the thermos with a bit of sugar. Whether I am at home or at work I sip piping hot sweetened tea all day long.
I carry this to work in my purse. It just fits, but it's a rather large purse. I kind of want the 26 ounce model but it was $10 more expensive.
I'm sure when the Texas heat arrives.. and boy, will it... I will be putting my daily companion's "refrigeration" skills to the test. Luckily from reading the other reviews, it looks like the thermos is up to the challenge!

I got tired of having to hunt down a place to get coffee on my shift. The wife needed a new thermos (little t) so I did a little research and bought one these for her. She liked it a lot. So I bought one.
I work 10 hour shifts and don't start drinking coffee until late in the shift. We both also have Thermos Stainless King SK1005MB4 16-Ounce Leak-Proof Travel Mugs and this Thermos (Big T) holds enough to fill the mug twice. The last filing is close to the end of the shift and is still HOT!
Well worth the money. It's the real deal. Love it!

I live in Southern California and we've already had our first wave of unbearable heat. I try not to keep the air-conditioner on too much since it's not very budget friendly. And the fridge in my new apartment doesn't have an ice maker! What to do? Buy this thermos. Of course, as soon as I got it, I had to test it out. I filled it with a cold drink a few hours before bed and had a drink as soon as I woke up 9 hours later. It was still fridge cold. Did it stay super chilled through 24 hours? No. But it was still cool by 5 or 6 that next evening. More than I expected and all I needed. I have my room fans and my thermos. I got this thermos for my husband and he totally loved it. We have been looking for a good thermos: one that does not have plastic smell to it and one that can keep things hot. And this thermos is really good as its description. There is no plastic smell whatsoever. There is actually no smell at all. The exterior is really sleek and looks really nice. Also it can keep things hot. We tried leaving hot tea overnight and the next day, we still get hot tea out of the thermos. I would highly recommend this thermos. It is a bit more expensive than any other thermos (actually the most expensive that I have seen) but I think that it is worth the money.
