This is an absolutely LARGE thermos! It's built tough! I've used it for home-made soup and smoothies that I make with my Montel Williams Health Master. I also make fresh carrot/apple juice. Hot or cold, you literally drink all day long with this 61oz. size thermos. I work at a law firm and I can't go out for lunch at times so it comes in handy. I Love Mine! I have been entertaining for years and use the thermos bottles for getting the coffee and water for tea made ahead of time. I purchased one to check it out, and loved the features so much that I purchased another for hot water. The only complaint is that the instructions were tucked inside the thermos, and when I rinsed out the first one, part of the directions remained inside and came out later in the coffee mug.

My husband is a truck driver and has this 61oz thermos for work. This thermos is wonderful. It keeps the coffee hot all night. I am replaceing it after many years because the handle broke. Other then that it still works. I am so glad we found this stainless steel thermos because we went through so many glass lined ones before finding it. My husband won't leave to work without it. this thermos is awesome! it will hold a 12 cup pot of coffee with no problem.
as for performance - when I fill it I do not warm it up and the thermos keeps the contents as hot as they were when it was initially filled for over 24 hours!
the plug is a bit tight getting in but that can be expected. the cap doesn't always want to screw on easily but if you pay attention when putting it on it's fine.

I bought 4 of these on the recommendations in Amazon. They were 100% right! Best thermos out there. We use for hot water for tea. This thermos keeps water hot for at least 24 hours, keeps it fairy hot for 36 hours. Previously I only got about 8 hours or less depending on how much I used it and how much was left. This guy works no matter what. Like day and night. If you're looking for a keeper, this is the one!
