have had stanleys in the past and several other brands. this works well. had the thermos rock before, but the handle was too large. this one folds up and there's a shoulder strap. great for me for hiking in winter. i'm reasonable with product limitations and did not anticipate that this would keep beverages hot for long durations. but it's proved to be very efficient. my temps have been very warm for up to 20 hours. at 12 hours, liquids are scalding still. after 30 hours, still lukewarm. i would be lucky with my stanleys to be warm at 3 hours.Customer Review: a must-have for an asian family drinking a lot of hot water

I put in boiling hot water at 7 pm and checked it back 24 hours later. Unbelievable, the water was still hot although not boiling hot (for the water temperature dropped about 30-35% percent) . I drink a lot of tea. With this guy, I can just boil one big pot of water on the stove and pour the water into it and enjoy the tea for rest of the day. I also use the hot water from this bottle to warm my new born baby's formula bottle from the refrigerator. It is much efficient than using tub water. When we unpacked the thermos, I put in hot water from the tap to see how long it would stay hot. 26 hours later the water was still hot! And had only cooled down a few degrees. The thermos is also very large, being able to easily fit the contents of a 12 cup coffee pot. The only thing i did not like was the small mouth on the container. It is impossible to get your hand down inside to thoroughly clean the thermos. The small opening may be part of the design in order to keep the contents hot, so i can't really hold that against it.Customer Review: Couldn't be better!

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who was spending a mint on coffee at Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts. I wasn't sure he'd even use it. Turns out, he LOVES it. He makes coffee at home, and takes it to work in this thermos everyday! He says it saves him the time of driving to a coffee shop, waiting in line, etc. We joke that he should be a product tester because he's really rough on his things, so having a warranty on this thermos is important. Months later, though, it's still going strong. We couldn't be more pleased.Customer Review: Great Thermos

This thermos is great. I purchased this one and my husband purchased a different one. We tested them and this one stayed 20 degrees hotter after 9 hours. He now wishes he would have let me by his thermos. I put hot water in it on Monday with the lid checked it again on Wednesday and it was still hot. Took coffee to work at 8AM and it was still hot when my husband came home at 9PM. I would recommend this thermos to anyone who wants their coffee to stay hot...
