This Thermos keeps coffee HOT not warm for a while,but HOT. The second day I made the mistake of pouring out the Thermos to put fresh coffee into the Thermos the following day and I was moving dishes around in the sink with my free hand and I accidentally poured the coffee onto my hand and burned my fingers and hand. After 24 hours the coffee was that HOT. I did not expect the Thermos to keep the coffee that HOT for so long, I have never had a thermos perform that well. I had bought it for the stainless steel liner, so I would not break the unit, and to my surprise that seems to be the reason for the long hold times I have gotten.Customer Review: The Thermos of Champions

For years I could never find a thermos that actually was worth the money. They either leaked, didn't keep it hot or cold, or broke or were cheaply made. This thing seems virtually unbreakable, but best of all, it's leak proof. I put boiling water in it and put in my tea bags, close it up and it's good to go. I throw it down on my truck bed floor and the tea stays in without any problem. But best of all, it keeps it hot or cold all day long. This is the ultimate thermos. It seems a bit big to lug around, but i Find it perfect for work and will last you all day thanks to it's size. Buy it, it's great. Don't worry.Customer Review: Good Thermos

This thermos keeps my tea hot most of the day. I brew it around 6:00am, and it's still hot in the late afternoon around 3:00 to 4:00pm. Just be careful not to soak bleach water anywhere near the inner rubber lining around the mouth of the thermos or near the stopper. It's okay to fill the thermos with bleach water to clean, but just make sure you don't fill it all the way to the top mouth where the rubber lining is located. If you let bleach come in contact with the rubber lining for a few minutes the bleach will warp the rubber and you will lose your seal. This is the best thermos I've ever owned. The other day, after putting in 45 small ice cubes and filling the rest of the thermos with room temperature water, I went to work. When I got home there was a little water left and a clump of ice that I could not get out of the bottle. So, I left it on the counter overnight with the cap off. The next day the clump of ice was still there and I still couldn't get it out--WOW! The bottle is extremly light weight, has an easy carry handle, and the cap allows liquid to flow out without removing it all the way. I paid 28.43 for this, and bought two of them- and got one free on the 4 for 3 promotion, since I was also buying two other items which cost more than this. However, even if I had paid full price I would have been pleased with this. I take a full lunch for 5 people to Davis every few weeks, and this thermos keeps the cold drinks cold and the hot drinks hot. I used to have to take multiple smaller thermoses, now I just take these two bad boys. It's rare, these days, to find quality made items- but this really is quality. If you want a large thermos that does its job well, this is for you.
