I'm a truck driver , This product is everything I expected . Keeps about 1/2 gallon of coffee piping hot for well over 12 hours . **( Enjoy !!! )**
*** Update - I've been using this product 5 days a week for over two years now . Still going strong . Recently I cleaned the inside for the first time with a few tablespoons of calcium carbonate ( you can buy it here on Amazon , or make your own by grinding clean-dry eggshells into a fine powder . Were you aware that eggshells are 93% calcium carbonate ? ) and very hot water . Let sit overnight , shake every few hours then rinse well three times in the morning . Bye-Bye bitter build up . Clean as a whistle . Awesome Thermos !!!

This thermos is awesome. The second night I got it, I brewed a pot of tea and left it in the thermos overnight. It was still nice and hot the next morning. The top is a very convenient cup and also holds a pack of Ramen very well. I also use it with oatmeal. The strap is pretty decent as well. I have been carrying it around for maybe a month now and havent had any spills or leaks. The top of the thermos looks like it will stay water tight for a long time. One thing to keep in mind, though, that this is a very big thermos. 61 ounces is basically a whole pot of coffee. For me it is no big deal carrying that much around, but they have smaller sizes that may work better for other people. The craftsmanship etc. is excellent for the one I got so I would recommend the brand to anyone. If you want a big thermos, this is the one you want.Customer Review: Awesome Product!!!

Just let you know that the 61 ounce Thermos Nissan is absolutely great. I put hot water in the bottle at 7:30am, and the water was still very hot at 6:00pm. The next morning, the water was hot enough so that I made a cup of seaweed soup--I do not eat soup for breakfast, but just tried to test the water to see what it can do after 24 hours!
It is great product and I denifinetly will recommend it to my friends! However, I hope that Amazon does not rise the price so fast: I bought it at $38.07 on 5/5/10, but now is $41.00.
I also hope that the product comes in some other colors rather than black. I prefer the light brown color.

I have bought a number of thermos bottles for my husband, who uses one all day long to keep his water hot for his "chimarrao", a special type of green tea (from southern Brazil). Finally I hit the jackpot with this thermos. He told me today that if someone set out to make a thermos that keeps your water hot for over 12 hours, doesn't leak a single drop, is unbreakable, is easy to carry and travel with (due to the collapsible handle, they certainly got it right with this one. Normally he has to pour out the water and reheat it. With this one, it's always hot and with the large capacity he has enough hot water to last all morning. Isn't it great to buy a product and find it's just exactly what you wanted and lives up to the advertising hype?Customer Review: This thing is huge

The price on this seems to fluctuate a lot. It was around 35 dollars and I happened to order it when it was 30, and as of this review it's 41 dollars. The product is very good and worth the price though. From using it for a while it does keep things hot for a long time. It's very sturdy and easy to carry despite the size. Speaking of size, this is a HUGE thermos. Probably too big for most people and the only downside is for me the cup on top is too big to use to drink out of. It's basically as big as a bowl. It does work for beverages, but I almost think it's too big and would be better for soup or some other type of food. I usually just pour my tea into my own cup. It does work well though. I have no complaints.
