Be aware that this hold more than 16 cups of coffee... Meaning it is HUGE.
If I take BOTH hand and put them around it thumb to middle finger, they barely touch. I would guess it to be about 15" tall.
I work in Corporate America and strap this on my back each morning. I love the easy to remove strap for just such as occasion. The thermos is sturdy... the handle is sturdy and folds flush against the thermos. Without pre-heating the thermos, it keeps the one full pot that I pour in each morning piping hot ALL DAY. I have tested it for up to 16 hours to find it still too hot to do more than sip at the end of 16 hours (and I have been regularly pouring coffee out all day)
It does not leak! The only downside is that the opening at the top is too narrow to add sugar with a teaspoon. I have purchase a cheap funnel to keep the sugar from sticking all over the sides. Well worth the money.

I don't feel the need to write reviews very often, pretty much only when I'm extremely impressed, or extremely unimpressed by a product. I had purchased a 2 quart Stanley Thermos not too long ago and found it to be horrible, and their customer service was even worse (check my review). After finding out that Stanley would not stand behind their product I decided to go elsewhere. After reading the excellent reviews for Thermos products I decided to try out the 61-ounce. The first night after I brought it home I decided to test it out, so I filled it with hot tap water and set it out on my front porch in zero degree weather overnight (11 hours). I opened it the next morning and the water felt just as hot as the night before....Amazing! My Stanley won't keep coffee hot for 4 hours in moderate temperatures! I have no doubt that this product will keep liquids hot or cold for 24 hours just as the company states. Looked at all the reviews on Amazon about this Thermos Nissan 61 oz and bought a "slightly marked" one at about 1/2 price from the warehouse. Could find NOTHING wrong with it. Preheat Thermos with boiling water and let sit 20min, make lots of coffee. Empty boiling water from Thermos and put hot coffee in. I had at least 8 mugs of hot coffee in 10 hr period. Probably would of stayed hot even longer. As soon as I get home I put a few drops of dish washing detergent and hot water in it. Let sit 5 min, swish around dump and rinse. Clean . Have used about 10 times so far. Always keeps coffee hot and no stinky smell after cleanup. Better than the Stanley and Aladdin I used to have. Thermos Nissan a superior product I give my highest rating to.
Nov4... Made my coffee and put in Thermos Nissan. Went to work but left the thermos on the kitchen counter. Went to bed after work. Next morning over 24 hrs after putting coffee in thermos, coffee was STILL hot. That is fantastic.

Does what it's supposed to do, keeps hot beverages hot and the cold ones cold. Everything about this thermos' finish and functionality is beautiful. The stainless steel interior and exterior mean it can be properly cleaned. The cup is a great size. The cap doesn't leak and it unscrews part way to pour without spilling the entire contents into the cup. The thermos cap is also designed to keep air from your liquids so that they maintain their temperatures. The folding handle is great. The sling strap is adjustable and easily removed before cleaning the thermos. It's clear the a lot of intelligence went into its design, which is why I bought two. On hot days I'll go through 3-4 liters of herbal iced tea while working outside. It's truly luxurious to have my beverages on hand (fresh brewed iced tea sweetened with stevia) instead of paying up for whatever is available. I don't drink carbonated beverages and don't always want to trudge to a store for plain water.Customer Review: I'm buying this one next

You can't go wrong with the Thermos branded Nissan bottle. Their vacuum seal is for real, I read the patent and everything (They managed to automate the brazing process in a vacuum furnace, driving the price way down, hopefully no jobs were lost, as someone must still operate the furnace.). I have the 34 ounce version, and it keeps my beverage of choice hot or cold for well over a day. You won't be disappointed by this product, I can say without even having purchased it yet. I love my 34 ounce Thermos, but I drink more tea in a day than it can provide.
