I love drinking green tea. I ordered two of them last week (the price was $14.50/each) to save couple bucks on shipping and to use one as a gift for my friend. This product keeps my tea hot for hours. I'm now drinking tea, which I have made this morning for almost 9 hours, and it is still hot. I have to wait a while for it to cool down. I had this bottle. I loved this bottle. I put this bottle in the dishwasher (like people said that's ok, even though it says in the directions not to). After that, it no longer worked. Nothing. The big fat ZERO. I suspect, somehow, the action of the dishwasher, destroys the vacuum seal.
I will have to get another. Just wanted to warn people - don't be tempted!

I've always had good luck with the cups and thought I'd give the thermos a try. Great. Filled it up with coffee, rode my motorclcye 100 miles and stopped for coffee, still steaming hot. Put ice in it yesterday rode from Miami to Key West on the bike. I expected to find water & ice. Wrong, ice only not one drop of water just ice that's how well the thermos works. I use this thermos almost everyday to take my french press coffee to work. If you pre-warm the container it will keep coffee hot all day long. One warning is that the screw top sometimes doesn't screw down correctly, which can make a mess of any bag you throw it in, so pay attention that the threads seat correctly. Its a thermos that keeps my drink hot. I got this smaller version because I wanted one to keep in my backpack. It does a great job of keeping my drinks HOT. I can make cafe con leche at 6 am, and have it at 4pm when I start getting tired, and it is still steamy hot.
I would recommend this brand name to anyone, as they make varying sizes for their thermoses.
