Without a doubt this is the one of the best insulated containers I have ever owned. Four to six hours after my coffee was poured into the container, it is still nearly as hot as it was coming out of the coffee pot. I have not tried it with cold drinks yet, but I would expect that it would perform well in that case as well. You won't regret purchasing this item.Customer Review: Excellent for individual use

This item is fantastic! I got it as a gift for my mate. We tested it out by putting it in the freezer to chill and then placing ice cream in it as a treat for a long day of work. Six hours later the ice cream was still pretty well frozen! It can't be placed in the dishwasher and conventional scrub brushes won't fit. Best use a scrubber like the ones in Chem. class. Clean it right after use. Keep in mind that this size is best for an individual and not so much for group sharing. It's light weight and easily carried in a decent sized purse or bag. Once called "Nissan bottles" before their purchase by Thermos, these stainless steel insulated bottles are highly prized by campers, boaters, climbers, and others who work in hazardous environments (daycare workers, teachers, office workers, beach bums...) They keep your drink or soup hot or cold and, in a pinch, you can use a Nissan bottle to fight off a raging elephant.Customer Review: excellent small thermos

This Nissan thermos is my second one-lost the first one after ten years of use, when it was still doing a beautiful job. this is a great product-and I recommend it. You can pour one handed, the liquid stays very hot for at least 12 hours-or equally cold.
