You want a thermos to keep things hot (or cold) and you want a to-go cup that works like a thermos... well, this is the only gig in town, but that said- it's not the panacea you're looking for. I find that I've finished my coffee before I get a chance to even use the thermos functionality (it only holds 12 oz), and when I don't, I find the coffee cold after a few hours. If you only need 12 oz at a time, and will remember to tighten the lid between sips- you're probably going to love this cup. I only "like" it for now... but until something better shows up, it's all I got.Customer Review: the top wouldn't unscrew

I took this travel mug on a day trip. I had soup in it. When I got home later and went to clean it, the top was stuck shut. I tried unscrewing it several times over the next few days and it wouldn't budge. Finally threw it away.
