My husband and I have tried every known travel mug from every site and store in the U.S. and Canada! Every one we have had leaked if it tipped over on the floor of the car and most dripped on my lap as I drank from them as I drove the car. This one does not drip when you drink from it.
This is my second Thermos Nissan Leak Proof Travel Mug. My first one was stolen this summer after having used it for the past 7 years! Lucky person! They now have a 100% leak proof travel mug! Even the rubber seals were still good.
Don't bother buying any other travel mug, no matter how fancy! This travel mug is the only one to buy! So long as you screw the lid on tight it will never leak when laying on it's side. Never put it in the dishwasher or you will destroy the seals.
Believe me! This is a real winner.

I got this for my husband for NYC subway and bus commuting. All parts are easy to clean. The top parts can be popped apart and separated and the seal cleaned separately to prevent nooks and crannies from becoming corroded and mildewy/stinky. So many other mugs are not properly cleanable and get gross. That doesn't happen with this mug. If Nissan sold spare parts, that would be the only better thing I could wish for. I got this as a replacement for the same mug but actually haven't needed to stop using the old one which must be 3 or 4 years old at this point, though the washer is kinda stained. It is absolutely leak proof when screwed shut.Customer Review: best travel mug I ever had

I recently bought a few more of these and sent over 20 other styles and makes to the recycle bin. I have had one for several years and realized that this is the only travel mug to own. I can throw it in the car and take it to work, a meeting, fishing or the golf course and it looks and performs like no others. with the lid closed it will never leak. It also keeps beverages hot for several hours and cold for a long time as well. It is truly the best value and I would recommend them to everyone. I have bought them for my married children and their spouses as well. I can't say enoughgood things about this product.Customer Review: Best Mug

I had one of these before but lost it. I tried to do with other mugs due to the price but nothing compared so I bit the bullet and got another and am glad I did. The split ring carabiner combo I couldn't care less about but the mugs seals tight and keeps things incredibly hot. Like any thermos once you start drinking from it, its heat keeping ability diminishes but fill it up and put the cap on and it will still be hot hours later.Customer Review: It's perfect

I went through several cups looking for heat retention #1. I returned one (Cuisinart) for lack of retaining heat. The reviews really helped me on this decision. I've owned the cup for 6 months. I really like my coffee hot. I own a Cusinart maker because it does a good job of that. I can not even come up with one complaint for this product. It is wonderful and does exactly what it advertises. I reccomend it unconditionally.
