I bought this mug from Teavana a few years ago, and it is, far and away, the best travel mug I have ever used. I originally bought it for the convenience of brewing loose-leaf tea right in my mug, but I actually don't do that very often. What I have come to count on it for is its amazing ability to keep a hot beverage hot for hours, and not just two or three. It works so well that if I put freshly brewed tea in the mug, I can't drink it for a few hours because it stays at that just sub-boiling point for so long. It works great for me with my long days of school and work, where I could be out for 12+ hours a day. Like I said before, I don't actually use the tea brewer too often, because the one (small) problem with this design is that once the tea is brewed, there is nowhere to stash the used tea leaves. I have to remember to bring a small plastic bag with me to put the brewer insert into. But this is a minor inconvenience at best. And obviously, if tea is not your thing, this works just as well for coffee or any other hot beverage. The seals are tight and strong, so if screwed on properly, this cup does not leak, which is great for someone like me who is usually carrying four or five things at once! I can't recommend this mug highly enough; I tell everyone about it. I actually paid more than Amazon is charging for it, and I don't regret it one bit. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

Virtually unbreakable, this lightweight, vacuum-insulated thermos travels to work or your favorite recreation spot. On arrival, and for hours afterward, coffee, tea, or soup will still be hot. Or lemonade, pasta salad, or a sports drink will still be chilled. Compact (7 inches high) and shapely, this thermos has a "waist" for firm gripping indented in its satin-finish exterior and tough, nonslip, black plastic top and bottom. There's a choice of two twist tops, one for coffee and another, with a stainless steel strainer, for tea--each has a sip-hole, and a cap twists onto either to prevent spills. Fine threading ensures tops and cap seal tightly, while the smooth interior cleans with sponge or cloth. Preheating or prechilling with hot or cold water is recommended. --Fred Brack
