I purchased the Thermos Element 5, 16-oz Leak-proof food jar to use for taking foods/drinks to work. I love it. I did mistakenly not screw the lid on tight once, and I spilled "milk" needed for my breakfast. I've used it for hot and cold foods and they have stayed hot for several hours and the cold items are still cold when I've had them. Great product. Glad I bought it.

Best choice available for a small handy Thermos. Best if you keep boiled water and lid closed for few minutes before place in warm food. That will increase the duration of retainer time.
Durable and Easy to clean because of wide opening. I got this for my daughter for her school meal and quite satisfied.

I got this for my dad for Christmas because he drives a truck and has no access to an office kitchen during the day. My parents told me this weekend that it works much better than the one he had before and keeps his food warm all the way until lunch. (My dad leaves for work at about 7 am and eats around 12 or 1 pm.)Customer Review: Great Thermo

We are very happy with this Thermo. My daughter takes it to school early in the morning and she states her food stays very warm and tasty by lunch time. It is easy to carry in the lunch packs. I would have liked it with a wider mouth, but all in all is a good product.
