My husband loves these mugs to carry along when walking in the woods or on his tree stand.
Keeps coffee hot-hot-hot all day if you keep the top on (and top stays on securely--just twist a bit to sip coffee).
This size doesn't work in my beverage holders in the car but I still use these for a hot cup of coffee once I arrive at work.
Needs to be handwashed--have a bottle brush handy.
One tip.....don't lose the white seals on the top....one of ours came off and I learned the hard way why those are necessary (poor carpet at work)

As a coffee drinker who can't start a morning without a cup - having the right travel mug has been an obsession that borders on insanity. I agree with everything said about it including the criticisms. It does what it's supposed to do very well. I took it to work and a coworker wanted it just based on its looks. I told him Target carries it so he went to 2 Targets in the area but could not find it. I ordered it for him on Amazon and it came in 3-4 days (with free shipping).
Criticisms include small mouth making it hard to wash inside and the plastic ring that easily comes off the inside of the lid. Lose the plastic ring and you lose the vacuum seal.
Overall, I would say it's a solid 5 star product.

I have bought three travel mugs and all three either didn't keep the cofee hot or my coffee leaked in my knapsack on the train. Well, not today because i purchased this 16oz leakproof mug. After being on the train for an hour, I pulled it out of my knapsack without an ounce of spillage. I burned my mouth on the coffee when I went to drink it. This travel mug is what I've been looking for since I started commuting into NYC. This prouduct is worth the $25 dollars I paid for it! Now I know what to get friends and family who commute for Christmas this year.Customer Review: Better than expected!

Simply excellent. As another reviewer, I removed the black plastic bottom so it fits my car's cup-holders. In my old thermal mug, coffee's temp reduced to cool in 3-4 hours. This truly does keep coffee hot throughout the workday! I didn't expect to like the style, but it turns out the handle will probably prove useful in that you can loop it over your belt or into a pocket for hands-free carrying. I thought it was expensive, but the solid build should provide a life greater than my previous 4-5 mugs combined making it far less expensive than it first seems.
