This is my husband's favorite coffee mug. He drives a semi and sometimes he is not near a truck stop in the morning, which is bad because he doesn't do well without his coffee. With this mug, he can fill it up at night somewhere, and it's still hot or very warm by morning. The only problems he's had are: 1.the plastic ring seal that is located under the lid comes off from washing it. 2.the black handle sometimes slips off, but he fixed that with a strong sealer. However, I've bought him three so far because he lost the first one, and he wanted two in case he loses another... so far he's been keeping a better eye on them. My husband is real picky, so if he loves it, I got to give five stars!Customer Review: Great mug, some faults, excellent customer service

In general, this is a great mug - other reviews here mostly sing its praises, and I agree.
Some note that the O-ring on the inside of the cap is prone to falling off, which was my experience.
After 6 months of very heavy usage (always dangling on the carabiner as I take it to school and work on my bike and on public transportation, and hiking), the plastic handle slid off the metal bars that hold it, which was highly annoying.
I sent the mug in for repair, and to I got back a brand new mug which also has the O-ring problem mentioned above fixed - there's now a little ridge that holds it in place. I consider that excellent customer service.

One of the things I love about shopping on Amazon is the reviews and see what purchasers before me think of their products--so thanks everyone who reviewed before me. This mug is great! It does not leak...which every previous model of travel mug I have owned does. It performs very well in keeping things hot or cold. Mine arrived yesterday and I brought coffee to work...enjoyed sipping all morning and I hate cold coffee. Rinsed the Thermos out and added ice and had cold drinks all afternoon. I plan to get a wide mouth model for bringing reheated leftovers and not standing in line in the break room to "nuke" my lunch. I love this mug! It doesn't leak and is great for my needs. When I was on crutches it was nice to have a mug that I didn't have to carry in my hand. I could throw it in my backpack and go. The opening is a bit narrow and the bottom is a little wider than normal, but those are very small drawbacks as far as I'm concerned. If you purchase this mug make sure you keep track of the rubber seals that go around the the lid. There are two and they can be removed easily for cleaning, but they can also fall off if they are not put back on correctly. If you lose a rubber seal, the mug is no longer leakproof. I have the handled mug and my husband has the one without. We both love these mugs. They have gone to work with us 5 days per week for the last 4 months. They keep our coffee warm for hours, don't leak, are easy to drink from and easy to clean. Our Oxo bottle brush fits down into them- no problem. The wide bottom might be a tight fit in some car cupholders; we carry them to work in our backpacks so can't say for sure. A caveat- be careful not to lose the seal ring on the cap. It removes easily (I take it off to clean it) but it could easily escape down the drain. An earlier review provides the info for ordering the seal if it is lost.
