Latch tab appears warped.
At first I thought it was problem.
The AA and AAA containers lock easily.
It turns out that the latch is NOT defective.
You just need to give it a extra pinch to lock tightly.
I would recommend this to a friend.
Also the AA, AAA, C, D, but NOT the MULTI BATTERY version.
