Customer Review: I wish I could give it zero stars - RIPOFF!

My boyfriend gave this to me as a present for my birthday, and I was so excited to try it the first time. I followed the instructions exactly - if you take it step by step it's not that hard. Then, after three little donut blobs, the whole thing jammed. After looking inside I saw that the plastic chain that rotates the metal flippers had completely fallen off the wheel, the way a bike chain falls off a bike gear. It happened in the far end of the machine, and since the mechanics are all inside the plastic shell and there's no way to open it up, it was impossible to fix. I tried for an hour, but there's just no way. There were also random pieces falling off in the inside, and the drain for the oil bath wouldn't shut all the way, so it was continuously dripping oil into the drain pan at the bottom.
It wouldn't be so bad if they made it out of better materials, but it's constructed so cheaply that it's pretty much guaranteed to break. It's also really hard to clean.
Save your money. Don't get it.
