Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cozy Cup WarmerCustomer Review: great warmer - works well on a large cup, albeit not more than 50% full Summary: 5 StarsThis warmer has performed admirably under strange circumstances. I use it to warm shaving cream and keep it warm throughout my shave. It's a pretty unorthodox use, but for my purposes I use a large soup cup, warm it thoroughly under hot water inside and out, and set it on the warmer. I then put my cream and hot water in it and lather it up. By the time I get to shaving, the stuff is even hotter than it started. Granted it's not a full mug of water (or cream), but the fact that it can actually raise the temperature a little bit is a good sign. Highly recommend. Price doesn't hurt either.
Customer Review: Excellent warmer-washer helps a lot Summary: 5 StarsWide base holds large cups! I searched high and low for a flat bottom coffee mug to make more contact with the base warmer to no avail... so I use a 1-1/2"W x 1/16" thick steel washer to fill the space between mug and warmer and Voila, works like a charm. (Not that the base isn't hot enough on it's own.) Be sure to turn off the warmer cause it'll carmelize empty coffee at the bottom of cup. I'd recommend this to anyone; have bought a couple more as gifts.
Customer Review: Beveral Warmer Summary: 5 StarsThe warmer is great. At first, I was hesitant to buy it because the warmer didn't have an on/off switch on the base. I finally decided to purchase it because unlike other beverage warmers, this one has a whopping 24 watts of power, just enough to keep your beverages warm. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the on/off switch is in a convient place, located on the cord about 2 inches from the base. I would deffinitely purchase this item again.
Customer Review: Very good, best out there Summary: 5 StarsI searched quite a bit. I think this is the best warmer available.
Would be even better if:
1) Automatic turn-off after xx minutes.
2) Was a few degrees hotter. It can't be much hotter without being dangerous, but 5 or 10 degrees would be good. I'd probably burn myself a bit, but it would be worth it to keep my coffee a touch hotter.
Note - Some people have complained about the position of the switch. Mine is on the cord about 6" from the base.
Customer Review: Perfect for the science lab Summary: 5 StarsI teach high school science, and have to heat superglue to fume products for our forensics class. These are PERFECT. They're a bit higher wattage than some I've found (so coffee drinkers will like the warmer coffee), and the switch on the cord is great so that I can have the wamer in the fuming chamber, and turn on the heater externally.
