I haven't used this unit long and I hope it will hold up over time. This is made of metal and seems like it will take a beating. The drawers are heavy when using glass spice bottles. I find myself supporting the shelf with my other hand when extending downward. This may not be necessary, but seems like a good idea.
I have completely transformed my spice shelves. While this unit will hold the standard sized grocery store spices, I went the extra mile by purchasing the 48-pack of glass spice jars and the 86-pack of spice labels available on amazon, dumped all my out of date herbs and spices, replacing them with high-quality product from an online site and arranged them in my new spice rack.
Because the jars are uniform in size, I'm don't have to worry about having the short ones in front, larger ones behind -- everything is perfectly alphabetized. Looks gorgeous and will remain dust-free inside this unit.

After watching a slew of HGTV home improvement shows my husband and I decided to clear our counters. One of our dilemmas was what to do with our lazy-susan style spice rack. Then I spotted this product, which totally solved the issue. We both love to cook, so we have a lot of spices. Previously, we'd had a spice rack on the counter in addition to a couple of dozen spice jars piled up in a pull-out draw of a cupboard. It was a pain in the neck to find anything. We bought two of these Spice Stack Cabinet Spice Racks and now everything fits nice and neat in the cabinet next to the stove. The rack fits two full size spice rack jar rows or four of the half-size (they just sit on top of each other. Gravity keeps things from flying out, although you do have to pull the drawer out gently or something could fly out.Customer Review: Fantastic!

I've tried spice racks and counter units to hold my spices, but I eventually just put the bottles away in a cabinet so I didn't have to clean them off (and to keep my counter less cluttered). One night while cooking dinner I got so frustrated from constantly having to take everything out of the cabinet to find the one spice I needed. I figured there must be a better way! I did an internet search and came across this cabinet and liked the reviews so I ordered it. IT IS FANTASTIC! It's exactly what I needed. It fits in my cabinet perfectly and the spices are so easy to organize and access. In a word, perfect. This spice rack is perfect for an in the cabinet hidden spice rack. We have a narrow cabinet that is not practical for too much but perfect for spices. The bottom shelf has a spice carrousel for regularly used spices and this is on the second shelf. When I pull it out they hang down to the first shelf level - which is "perfect." My only concern is that the bottom shelf seems like it may start to separate from the sides under the weight of the spices, but so far so good and I don't put my use everday spices on it.
Really, who ever thought of this gets a gold star, great idea and design. Works as advertised.

I really love my spice stack. It was really easy to set up and does exactly what it should. Organize your spices! It fits almost any kind of spice size and allows easy access to your spices.
I had a cabinet for all of my spices and would never be able to see anything on the second shelf because I'm on the shorter side but we put the spice stack on the second shelf and now I just pull down the drawer and have easy access. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to organize your spices.
